COMMON QUESTIONS
How do I join the beta?
Email hello@keyhausgarage.com with what you drive and whether you use iPhone or Android. On iPhone you'll get an invite through Apple's TestFlight app.
Where is my information stored?
During the beta, everything in your garage is stored on your own phone. See the privacy policy for the few features that send information to outside services.
My expiration reminders aren't showing up.
Check that notifications are allowed: Settings → KeyHaus → Notifications. Reminders arrive 30 and 7 days before the date you entered, at 9 AM.
How do I record my car's cold-start sound?
Open your car, go to the Key tab and hold the Start button (or tap Record). Pick a delay so you have time to set your phone down, start the car after you hear "Recording", then trim it so it plays just the part you want.
How do I make my own car photo look like it's parked in the garage?
Open your car, tap Edit, choose your photo and tap Remove background. The car then stands right on the garage floor. You can drag and pinch the Framing preview to place it.
How do I delete a car or my data?
Open the car, tap ⋯ → Delete car. It asks twice, because it can't be undone. To remove everything, delete the app.
Is it safe to use Driver's Roads while driving?
Set up your route before you go, and keep your eyes on the road. Follow the voice directions and traffic laws, and pull over to change anything. Road picks and ratings in the beta are suggestions, so always use your own judgment about conditions.
